Hi Stacey! I am still in Oregon. It is good to see you are still climbing in the gym and climbing steps at Stanford. At least your climbing is getting better (mine is getting worse!) Have been biking quite a bit out here but losing upper body strength pretty rapidly (partly as a result)… have now resolved to hit the gym wherever there is a 24-hour Fitness in the cities I visit (since I still have membership there). There are like 12 in the Portland area, but virtually none in the rest of the state. Anyhow, happy b-day to Dave! Take care and ttys. love, -Felix, from Oregon

Stacey, It was great to talk to you on Tuesday at the Stanford Stadium. I could tell you are a great leader. You were willing to ask tough questions and really want to serve others in coaching and programs. I look forward to hearing about you rebuilding a habit and base of fitness which will launch you in a steady climb to your new post surgury goals. Let me know if I can help! Sincerely, Will Bower, from Redwood City

Stacey, it was great talking to you yesterday, albeit briefly. Imagine my shock when I meant to call my poor, sick, ailing friend. Our conversation went something like this: Cherie: Hello, Stacey? Stacey: Oh, Hi, Cherie! Good to hear from you! Listen, I need to help the twins start their climbing lesson. Gotta go! Stacey, even though you are getting better and have a ways to go, you are still one of the most determined, positive, and caring people I have ever been lucky to know. Congratulations for climbing your way back, and maybe I’ll see you this weekend. Your buddy, Cherie, from Oakland

🙂 Dear Stacey, I don’t know if you remember me but I am one of the meditation instructors mentioned in #406. Your story captivated my heart and when I called you to see how you were doing, I felt honored that you gave me the link to your website. I visited it a couple of times before today (once to donate) and only just today found the Guestbook. I have been entranced reading your saga (backwards) for the last two and a half hours (I am about half way through!!) and am thrilled to know how far you have come. I have thought of you many, many times since meeting you. Your story is SO inspiring and I wish you a smooth road and a long life and many happy climbs from here on in. And I hope you are at or near the day when candles can return to your life. Love and Blessings, Peg Pathways to Self-Healing Palo Alto, CA PS I am in Boulder for the summer and will be back in Palo Alto in September. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Peg Powell, from Palo Alto and Boulder

Hi, Stacey! Sorry I had been a little lax about removing the spam entries lately. Anyhow, great job about climbing–yah, I remember just 3 weeks ago you and I were only climbing 5.7s! That you are back up to 5.10s already is amazing. Well, keep up the great work and talk to you soon! love, -felix, from Fremont

Stacey! Thought I would try to reach you via your guestbook. I’d still love to feature you and your organization on our spirituallyfit.com webzine. We can get you more publicity and help raise funds. As I’ve always told you, I think you’re an amazing, inspirational woman and endeavors such as your she-climbs organization are wonderful examples of nourishing body, mind and soul. I look forward to hearing from you and hope you’ll let us feature you. Take care, Amelia Andaleon, from Port Angeles

Hi Sis, I love the update to the website. I’m sure that took a bit of effort on your part and on the part of your team – but it is definitely well worth it and necessary. You did a good job in capturing the essence of what is going on in your life at present. When I come to visit I’ll bring my digital camera, and we can work on adding to the photos page too. I just got back from 2 days in Estonia but I’ll give you a call tonight so we can catch up before the weekend. I love you lots, Denise, from Riga

Great to talk to you tonight Stacey, and I look forward to seeing you more when I am on a project in the Bay Area starting June 20-ish. Sounds like you are enjoying life out of the hospital. You are keeping a lot of strength, even with the challenges!! Much love to you, Stephanie Rowe, from Seattle
