Note from Peg Powell

🙂 Dear Stacey, I don’t know if you remember me but I am one of the meditation instructors mentioned in #406. Your story captivated my heart and when I called you to see how you were doing, I felt honored that you gave me the link to your website. I visited it a couple of times before today (once to donate) and only just today found the Guestbook. I have been entranced reading your saga (backwards) for the last two and a half hours (I am about half way through!!) and am thrilled to know how far you have come. I have thought of you many, many times since meeting you. Your story is SO inspiring and I wish you a smooth road and a long life and many happy climbs from here on in. And I hope you are at or near the day when candles can return to your life. Love and Blessings, Peg Pathways to Self-Healing Palo Alto, CA PS I am in Boulder for the summer and will be back in Palo Alto in September. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Peg Powell, from Palo Alto and Boulder

Stacey! Thought I would try to reach you via your guestbook. I’d still love to feature you and your organization on our spirituallyfit.com webzine. We can get you more publicity and help raise funds. As I’ve always told you, I think you’re an amazing, inspirational woman and endeavors such as your she-climbs organization are wonderful examples of nourishing body, mind and soul. I look forward to hearing from you and hope you’ll let us feature you. Take care, Amelia Andaleon, from Port Angeles

Hi Sis, I love the update to the website. I’m sure that took a bit of effort on your part and on the part of your team – but it is definitely well worth it and necessary. You did a good job in capturing the essence of what is going on in your life at present. When I come to visit I’ll bring my digital camera, and we can work on adding to the photos page too. I just got back from 2 days in Estonia but I’ll give you a call tonight so we can catch up before the weekend. I love you lots, Denise, from Riga

Dearest Stacey, Today is your official adoption day so I am remembering. How sweet of Nature to have selected this day to place you in our hearts and on our laps. In the spirit of Flag Day I salute you for your courage and compassion. In the spirit of Gratitude, I love you for absolutely everything you are. -Mom

Great to talk to you tonight Stacey, and I look forward to seeing you more when I am on a project in the Bay Area starting June 20-ish. Sounds like you are enjoying life out of the hospital. You are keeping a lot of strength, even with the challenges!! Much love to you, Stephanie Rowe, from Seattle

Hi Stacey, I just finished reading your journal to be up-to-date on what’s happening. I’m sure it tires you to keep up your journal but I really appreciate it. You mentioned an email address. I’ve sent messages to the’climb your dreams’ and it comes back. I would like to just send an email sometimes. I’m sure your friends aren’t interested in knowing that I am going to have a knee replacement or that Heidi is getting a #@*%!orce. Is your street address the same? Nicky’s baby (Emily) is due most any day. Please pray for her and I’ll let you know when she arrives. I love you so much and I am so proud of you. Good night honey. Love and prayers. Aunt Norrie, from Gaithersburg

Hi Sis, It was nice to hear your voice yesterday and fun to talk with you! Sophia is delighted with her presents and this morning she hid the rest of her stickers so Mia would not be able to eat any more of them. She is making a present for you but it is taking a while because it has lots of small pieces (that is a clue for you). It is funny that you and Sophia have the same bedtime (8:30 or 9) and same wake-up time (7:30)! If you have a three year old’s schedule, I guess you have the right to act like a three year old if you want to. I guarantee it gives her tons of energy so I am sure it is the right program for you as well. Love you lots, Denise Wirth, from Riga

Hi Sis, Sophia and I tried to call last night and you were out, but we will try again tonight. Mom emailed me some photos of you and friends and it was so wonderful to finally see your face. You could be a hair model with that luscious hair of yours! And is that the famous Rupie visiting you? I hope you are having a wonderful day. I love you, Denise Wirth, from Riga

Hi Dear Sis, I tried to callyou twice last night (daytime for you) and your phone was busy, you chatterbox! So I will try again today. Riga is crazy due to president Bush’s visit this weekend. Both bridges across the river are closed intermittently and large areas of the city, including the train station, are shut down. The Latvians are calling it’Hurricane George’. But it should blow over by Monday when he and his entourage of 600 depart. Love you lots, Denise Wirth, from Riga
